About Eric Bourdon

Eric Bourdon is Deputy CEO of Vicat, where he leads the Group Industrial Division, the Purchasing and Energy Departments, the Scientific Department and the Performances and Investments Department. Since 2022, he has also overseen the Climate Strategy Department, and since 2024 he has been Chairman of the European Cement Research Academy (ECRA).

He joined Vicat in 2002 in the Technical Department, and went on to serve as Performances and Investments Group Manager (2005), head of the France cement Industrial Department (2011) and head of Research & Development and the Quality Department (2014). He was appointed Deputy CEO in 2015, in charge of cement activities in France, Italy and Spain.

He began his career in 1992 at a German cement engineering company, working on the construction of a cement plant in Morocco and on projects in Egypt, Turkey, Portugal and Lebanon.
